At the January meeting of Hounslow Council Planning Committee, I joined my fellow members in unanimously voting to prevent the unilateral gating off of Brentford Dock, which is home to one of the most spectacular views of the Thames in all of London.
The riverside must always be a common treasury for all and I am pleased the Council will preserve the right of way for all people, including Brentford Dock’s Isleworth neighbours, to enjoy the path along the Thames.
